Kollege Town Acquisition Strengthens Riddell's Apparel Offering and Distribution
ROSEMONT, Ill.--(October 30, 2015)--Riddell announced today it has acquired Kollege Town Sports, of Windsor, Wisconsin, an innovative leader in the athletic apparel industry for youth, high school and college teams, and corporate sales. Kollege Town will continue to provide the same service offering and will operate as its own Riddell business unit based in the facility located just outside Madison. In addition, Tom Handlen, President of Kollege Town, and Jeff Handlen, Vice President of Kollege Town, will remain in their leadership roles.

Led by an experienced team, Kollege Town Sports is a national apparel company that specializes in screen printing, laser etching, embroidery and tackle twill. Providing customers with an all-inclusive solution for their apparel needs, Kollege Town’s sales, production and warehousing are all based out of its Wisconsin facility. Kollege Town offers a variety of fan and spirit wear items and has a comprehensive online store capability to support program fundraising efforts. Another aspect of Kollege Town’s business is its “fanaKTive” line, which provides sports fans with personalized wall and ground graphics, including team logos and athlete action shots.
